Chinaco Tequila Anejo
This enticing, rare tequila is carefully aged 3 years in government-sealed and certified oak barrels. The result is a remarkably smooth and richly complex tequila that is to be savored like a fine cognac. Color: Rich amber golden. Aroma: Pear, hint of wild flowers, vanilla and baked apple. Taste: Rich, complex, great depth and balance; heavily wooded. Comments: Enjoy in a snifter or on-the-rocks.
Inexcusably large amount of sediment and floating debris displayed. Subtle bouquet is lightly peppery and mildly herbal; aeration releases aromas of fennel, green onion, Sherry and oak resin. Palate entry is oily/creamy and moderately sweet; midpalate shows green vegetable, Sherry/honey, and herbal agave flavors. Finishes sweetly.
